The split ladder

Three tiers. A clear climb to 75%.

Your tier is set in a written agreement before you list. It applies to the net commission on every listing you bring. Hard costs come off the top first, including referral fees, listing, marketing, staging and every other third-party expense. The split is paid on what remains, and XpoNential always keeps at least 25%.

Not ready to move?

Co-broker with us and keep your own firm.

You remain broker of record, with your listing agreement, your client and your name on the deal. We never solicit your client.

Every listing we present names its broker, and buyer inquiries on your listing are passed straight to you.

Bring a buyer to one of our listings and you are paid from the split we publish. Referrals run in both directions.

Your split, published

Your split brings represented buyers to your listing.

Buyers without an agent stall deals. When your listing publishes the split paid to the agent who brings the buyer, buyers arrive with representation, financing and a plan, and your seller still pays one commission.

How both brokers get paid from one commission Seller pays one commission to the listing broker. The listing broker pays a published split to the buyer's agent. The buyer's agent represents the buyer. You set the split. It is paid from your commission at closing, and your total commission stays between you and your seller.

The residential model

Practice sales are heading where home sales already went.

Since August 2024, a home buyer signs a written agreement with their own agent that states what the agent is paid, and any compensation offered to that agent is disclosed in writing. Practice sales have not caught up. Our network already runs that way.

  • You set the split. Every listing in the network publishes the share of your commission paid to the agent who brings the buyer.
  • Every buyer we represent signs a written agreement that states our fee before work begins.
  • When your published split covers a buyer we represent, it is credited against that buyer’s fee, so the buyer is never charged twice.
  • Your total commission stays between you and your seller.

Bring your book. We will bring the deal desk.
